Why it is compulsory for Muslim women to wear hijab/abaya or to cover themselves?

It is not compulsory for Muslim women to wear a specific piece of garment to cover themselves .Quran is very explicit in its direction for female modesty and maintain grace. Hijab /abaya are convenience and the conformity of these garments with Quarnic orders.

I don’t know why Muslim  men is not given the permission to women  wear anything in her life  these are the question always comes in my mind ,  they don’t have the rights for such kind of things. These are the issues always come in newspaper, news channels etc. Wearing hijab is mandatory in Iran; the practice of actual definition of hijab is somehow optional.
Why some Muslim women are murdered by their family members and relatives for not wearing a hijab? Is Hijab is much more important than a human?
Does a girl not wearing a hijab have a moral obligation towards women wearing a hijab and bearded men to cover her head in their presence?
Young girls also elect to wear the hijab publicly to avoid unwanted low class male attention and molestation and thus display their respectability as good Muslim girls. Muslim women’s clothing can vary from non-Muslim clothing to a hijab or a chadar
The issue has different names in different countries for hijab. In some Muslim countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia  it is compulsory for a women to wear Hijab according to their law , but it is nearly always a hot -button issue spurring arguments about religions, security and personal freedom. France, Russia, Spain Italy, Switzerland had already banned hijab. I always think about me that why my parents have not forced me to wear a hijab. They have always supported me to live my life according to my own choice, the have always given me the freedom of choice. They have given me the rights to wear anything  so that is my responsibility that I always wear a decent dress so that dress represent my morality  I am  very lucky that my parents is not forcing me for doing anything against my wish,  and when I compare my life to few Muslim friends of mine. I observe they have lots of restrictions imposed by their family about hijab and naqab & due to this pressure they are not able to complete their education, not even graduation and they have married without their consent and wish to someone with whom they are not happy.

Thus even if a thinner section of our society and country change their mentality about the concept of Hijab for female section of Islam, I would feel that my purpose of writing blog became successful.
